About two years ago we started to develop software for automatic translation of blogs and online publications. The challenge was to provide a quality translation solution; a solution that lends itself to SEO; and a solution that can process translation of content very quickly and frequently given the nature of blog publishing where content is added daily (and even several times daily). At the time, most of the products were free widgets which provided poor quality, free machine translation; additionally the content was not cached anywhere and was generated on-the-fly so it was not indexed by search engines.

The GTS plugin is based on post-edited machine translation using community translation (crowdsourcing), yielding very good human quality translation. Our product interacts with and writes the translated content to the blog database so it can SEOed and indexed by search engines. Furthermore, our system is based around a translation server that we ourselves own, so that there is violation of anyone's ToS.
