Software Localization Case Studies
- Christie Digital Systems (http://www.christiedigital.com) is a leading Canadian company that provides visual solutions for projection and cinema systems. Global Translation is providing software localization for their MasterSuite product line into: Korean, Japanese, Spanish, German, French and Simplified Chinese including the resource files (GUI), documentation and online help. A Style Guide was written for each language, and included a glossary of the product- and industry-specific terminology, cultural guidelines, terms that are not to be translated, currency and date display rules.
- ClickSoftware (Nasdaq: CKSW, http://www.clicksoftware.com) provides optimization software for service organizations. Global Translations provided localization of their ClickSchedule software into Simplified Chinese and German. Extensive use of CAT tools was made, including localization of their new software components developed in .NET.
- Kodak Polychrome Graphics (http://kpgraphics.com) provides software to the graphics art industry. Global Translations provided localization of their web-based software into FIGS and Japanese.
